Jim Bennett, President and CEO

As a global leader, he’s held executive positions including SVP Jarden Corporation, President Jarden China, President Shakespeare Industrial Products, VP/GM Flint Ink, and VP/GM K2 Sports. He has a demonstrated track record for revitalizing organizations in competitive markets. Through his Continuous Improvement initiatives, and his ability to develop high performing teams and future leaders, Jim is confident The HC Companies will be the supplier of choice for growers and gardeners throughout the horticultural industry. He practices the belief that, “The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence regardless of their chosen field of endeavor” (Vince Lombardi). Jim holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemistry from Furman University.
