- Report – SVP of Sales and Marketing
Experience (preferred or required)
- Must live in, or be willing to relocate to Ontario area
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), or equivalent, from four-year college or university in business, sales, marketing, advertising, or similar field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a sales, marketing, advertising, event or retail related setting.
- New business development – must have experience leading a sales team during a time of significant growth
- MS Office experience including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead all sales efforts for the Canadian territory
- Lead a sales team and develop and execute strategic sales/business plans to grow and manage the Canadian business
- Perform sales and marketing activities to meet and exceed forecast
- Negotiate pricing in accordance with company pricing team
- Utilize data to proactively manage territory and grow the business
- Analyze market potential and assist with pricing analysis
- Prepares and delivers sales presentations
- Develop good working relationship with manufacturing team
- Develop and maintain strong value add relationships with customers, independent reps and internal resources
- Implement selling tactics that focus on delivering the desired financial results
- Support and implement strategic corporate brand marketing initiatives
- Actively participate in trade shows, conventions, dealer shows, etc.
- Develop primary knowledge of the market place (users, applications, products, competition, and channels)
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails in a timely fashion
- Willing to learn the industry and help us maintain and grow our marketplace position
- Attend business meetings and trainings as required
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

- Travel as required
